Tools you’ll need
Step 1: Find out how your bathroom mirror is attached to the wall
Usually, bathroom mirrors are installed using adhesives but in some cases, people use fastener brackets as well. Mine was held by glue in four different spots.
Inspect yours to find out.
Step 2: Try detaching the mirror using your hands
In some cases, bathroom mirrors can simply come off using your hands. I tried that but it didn’t work. Make sure you wear some protective gloves before trying this. I wasn’t thinking when I tried mine with my bare hands.
Step 3: Use a Ply bar to remove the mirror
If your bathroom mirror doesn’t come off just using your hands, try using the ply bar.
Make sure to cover your ply bar with a rag so it doesn’t break your mirror or damage your drywall.
Once you apply a little pressure on the ply bar, you’ll hear a couple of pop sounds.
That’s when you can put the ply bar down and remove the mirror using your hands.
Step 4: You don’t have to do this but Destroy the mirror
This is a fun step. You probably won’t want to destroy your bathroom mirror, but in case you do, place it in a safe location.
Then smash the mirror using a hammer or any other hard object.
